Golden stupas, temple-studded plains and life on the water at Inle Lake.
Myanmar is a land of Buddhist monuments and rural traditions. Yangon's Shwedagon Pagoda glows gold above the city, while thousands of brick temples spread across the plain at Bagan. The coast, the hills of Shan State and the Irrawaddy River add further variety.
