Coffee houses and a Central European old town
Lviv's historic centre, a UNESCO site, reflects centuries as a crossroads of Ukrainian, Polish, Armenian, Jewish and Austrian cultures. Its Market Square is lined with Renaissance and baroque houses, and churches of several denominations stand within a few streets, including the Armenian Cathedral and the Latin Cathedral. The city is known for its long café tradition and chocolate-making. The Lychakiv Cemetery and the Lviv Opera House are among its other landmarks.
