Harbour skyline, dim sum and mountain trails
Hong Kong wraps a dramatic skyline around Victoria Harbour, best seen from the Star Ferry or from the Peak, reached by the historic tram. Central and Sheung Wan mix glass towers with dried-seafood shops and temples such as Man Mo. Kowloon has Tsim Sha Tsui's promenade and Mong Kok's street markets. Eat dim sum at a teahouse, roast goose and egg tarts. Much of the territory is country park: hike the Dragon's Back, take a ferry to Lamma Island, or visit the Big Buddha on Lantau.
