Bicycles, boulders and Anse Source d'Argent
La Digue is a short ferry hop from Praslin, a quiet island where most people get around by bicycle. Its famous beach, Anse Source d'Argent, is reached through the L'Union Estate, past a copra mill and a pen of giant tortoises, and is framed by sculpted pink-grey granite boulders and shallow turquoise water. On the east coast, Grand Anse and Petite Anse are wilder and wave-washed, and the Veuve Reserve protects the rare Seychelles paradise flycatcher.
