Rhinos, lions and a royal hunting ground
Hlane Royal National Park lies in the lowveld of north-eastern Eswatini and was once the royal hunting ground of the Swazi kings. It is now held in trust for the nation and has white rhinos, elephants and lions, the only lions in the country. White rhinos gather at the waterhole in front of the main camp, and guided walks and game drives explore the woodland. Nearby Mkhaya Game Reserve is known for its black and white rhinos.
