Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

The Grenadines

Sailing among small islands and the Tobago Cays

The Grenadines stretch south from St Vincent in a string of small islands, one of the finest sailing grounds in the Caribbean. Bequia, the largest, has a relaxed harbour at Port Elizabeth, a tradition of boatbuilding and model ships, and beaches like Princess Margaret Beach. The Tobago Cays Marine Park is a set of uninhabited islets inside a horseshoe reef, where snorkellers swim with green turtles. Mustique is a private island of celebrity villas, while Mayreau and Union Island are simpler and quieter.
