Liberia's surf town on a sweep of Atlantic beaches
Robertsport sits on a peninsula between Lake Piso and the Atlantic in western Liberia, a few hours' drive from Monrovia. Its long left-hand point breaks draw surfers, and local surfers have built a small scene here. Beyond the waves, the town has long stretches of quiet beach, fishing villages and simple eco-lodges. Lake Piso, a large coastal lagoon, is good for canoeing and birdwatching.
