Seven Mile Beach and cliff-top sunsets
Negril, on Jamaica's western tip, is built around two contrasting coasts. Seven Mile Beach is a long, gently curving strip of white sand with calm water, beach bars and reggae. To the south, the West End's limestone cliffs have caves and ladders into deep blue water, and Rick's Café is the famous spot to watch sunset and cliff divers. The pace is slow and the atmosphere relaxed. Day trips reach the YS Falls and the Black River's crocodile-filled wetlands.
