Beaches, a walled old town and summer nights
Budva is the centre of the Montenegrin Riviera, a resort with a small walled old town on a promontory and beaches stretching along the coast. Explore the citadel and old churches, then head to beaches such as Mogren, reached by a cliffside path. Just down the coast is Sveti Stefan, a fortified islet village turned luxury resort, and the one most photographed from the coastal road. In summer the town has a busy nightlife scene.
