A multicultural port across the bridge from Copenhagen
Malmö is Sweden's most international city and a short train ride across the Öresund Bridge from Copenhagen. The old centre gathers around Stortorget and Lilla Torg, whose half-timbered buildings are lined with outdoor tables in summer, while the Turning Torso tower rises above the redeveloped Western Harbour. Ribersborg beach and its old cold-bath house are a local ritual year round, and the food scene draws on the many communities who have made the city home.
