Whistler

Two mountains of skiing and summer adventure

Whistler sits two hours north of Vancouver along the spectacular Sea-to-Sky Highway, and it hosted events of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Whistler and Blackcomb mountains together form one of the largest ski areas in North America, linked by the Peak 2 Peak Gondola strung high between the two summits. In summer, the slopes become a famous mountain bike park, with hiking trails, lakes and ziplines too. The pedestrian village at the base has plenty of restaurants and après-ski bars, and a spa at Scandinave uses hot and cold outdoor pools.
