Ibiza

Superclubs, sunsets and quiet coves

Ibiza's reputation rests on its nightlife, with some of the world's most famous clubs operating through the summer season. But the island has another side. Dalt Vila, the walled old town of Ibiza Town, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as are the seagrass meadows offshore. The north is rural and quiet, with whitewashed churches, hippy markets and coves like Cala Benirràs. Sunset watching is an island ritual, and the neighbouring island of Formentera, with its white sand and clear water, is a short ferry ride away.
